Green Drop Garage

I love Green Drop Garage and have been going there for 6+ years. Recently I appreciated both Jon and Jack at the Moreland location for helping me prioritize car repairs. I appreciate Kimberly at the Central location who helped me last weekend when I needed to be towed to the shop. Everyone is kind, attentive, honest and reassuring. Thank you!

Buyer beware!!! I went here for one problem and one problem only. But before they will look at the very problem you brought the truck in for, they have to do an entire top to bottom "inspection" of your truck for $125. I didn't ask for an inspection and I didn't need an inspection. During said inspection the tech grossly overfilled my oil which he said was one quart low. It was not. Nevertheless, they send you a long list of work they tell you needs to be done along with the astronomical price tag for each job. It's so ridiculous if people fall for this stuff. Be Careful they will rip you off! I spent several thousand dollars at this shop over the past year when I was new to town and couldn’t find a good shop, but I always knew they were screwing me. I finally found an honest shop and had some work done on my vehicle last week, so I asked Green Drop for a quote on the same work to compare. The work I had done at the other shop only cost me $234, but Green Drop quoted me at almost $1100!! I understand prices are different at different shops and there’s different quality parts and workmanship, but over 4x the price is just egregious and indefensible. I’m really grateful for the green drop staff. Most trustworthy shop I’ve ever been to. They provide super detailed reports with photos, will talk you through something for as long as you need, absolutely incredible customer service. The one thing to be prepared for is they will be more expensive than most other shops. But from my experience they are absolutely worth it, less headaches and real quality work.

10/5 stars. These guys will always be my go-to shop. They've worked on my Promaster and have always been incredibly transparent about the work that needs to be done, explained to me exactly what's wrong and how things function, and even talked me through a small fix when I was not near Portland. Their prices are competitive and their warranties rival most other locations. Each repair I've left more educated on my vehicle and have had zero issues with their work. I've sent a number of people here and will continue to recommend them. Thank you Green Drop!
