Art of Maintenance

Was road tripping through Portland on a Saturday when I realized I had to make an emergency stop for a repair. I pulled over, found Art of Maintencae and asked if I could come in! They told me to swing through, met me in the parking lot, had my car immediately taken in for an inspection and had a diagnosis and quote to me in under 20 minutes. They provided a nice waiting room, clear communication, texts and links to images and videos of the car issues, along with electronic review and electronic review of the quote! Very friendly mechanic shop. Great diagnostics - they give you photos and videos explaining what's happening with your car. I love getting a visual of what needs to get done. My only feedback is to top up fluids. I had to double check all my fluids were looked at and go back because they were not. However maybe this is not standard and could be my error to think so. Overall great mechanic shop.

I took my car to this shop about 4 months because I had squishy brakes. They gave a list of things to get fixed and told me the issue was my rear rotors and brakes. It did not make sense to me but had them do the brakes. When I went back and told them the issue was not fixed they told me that it was because I had not done the front brakes. I did those on my own and issue was still there. Fast forward, I replaced the Master Cylinder and low and behold. Issue solved. Do not trust this people, take it somewhere else.

The folks over at Art of Maitenance are fantastic. Much kudos to Sierra at the front desk who has been wonderful to work with, and super communicative, as well as Robert. Both being super friendly, and accommodating. I have brought my truck in and out, as work has been done and as I decide to get work done, and they have all been super helpful and understanding. This is a solid shop, that will provide honest and top notch service.

The woman at the front desk was awesome. I had several appointments that day, and she was able to find a slot that worked with my timeline to get my oil changed. She was kind, personable, and the service was great! Her name starts with an S... but I can't remember it fully. Thank you, thank you
